Dali?s Hole, Dinorwic quarry, Llanberis
Dali?s Hole is a transient blue lake with waterfalls in the heart of the massive Dinorwic quarry.
Empty in dry weather, it offers ?one of the greatest adventures in Snowdonia?, said writer Daniel Start, author of Wild Guide Wales.
?It?s much used by climbers, but is mostly private land, so be respectful and discreet,? he said.
?From here, explore through the waterfall double tunnel into ?California? with its giant snake chain, and its Banksy-style grafitti art by ?Panik? (Jack Murray).?
In Mordor. Just out from the tunnel from the The lost World.Whereabouts is the slate quarry? It doesn't look like his usual stencil work.

I passed this way a month ago and I don't think it was there then.
The trouble with Dinorwig is that the quarry pits, and interlinking ladders, levels, paths and tunnels between them is a bit too complex for things like grid ref or even aerial photos, so things like on the left when exiting the tunnel from Hades into California or exiting the tunnel from lost world to Mordor are the only useful descriptions available. "Snakes ladders and tunnels" is a great all weather day out if you're in the Dinorwig/Llanberris areamrodoc said:....That's not a location that's just names to me.
