I've got the feeling I left my battery packs up at the hut when I was there last 4/5 October.
They were two medium sized black plastic boxes each containing 8 AAs
The lids were held down by grey gaffer tape.

Has anyone reported them found?

Apparently they've been seen!
They're on the window ledge of the long common room or probably in the DO cupboard.

In the foyer. I saw them tonight and will put them in the DO cupboard tomorrow.

It's worth noting that the Duty Officer's cupboard isn't as secure for lost property as some people may think. If the item has a label with a name and and an explanation of why it's there, there's less chance that someone will "tidy" it away.
