Yes folks we have ONE WEEK left to go until the ballot deadline (23:59pm Friday 13th December). Therefore I would strong encourage anyone (Individual or Group) who has not yet voted to please take advantage of this last opportunity. The changes presented represent one of the most substantial changes to BCA democracy in the lifetime of the Association, and a strong turnout would help to validate whatever the outcome.

Our Returning Officer is on hand if you have any issues (returning-officer@british-caving.org.uk) but as has been said before, if you cannot find your ballot please do consider checking your junk and deleted items folder as well as whether you have changed postal address this year.

Anyone wishing to return their ballot by post please be aware that it must be RECEIVED by us by the deadline (i.e. it will need to arrive with us in next Friday's Royal Mail delivery).

Most cases of 'ballot not received' that we have been troubleshooting lately have been due to the ballot being lost in peoples junk folder, automatically deleted by email systems, or due to our members having not kept BCA up to date with current email or postal addresses (hence the ballot has gone to a former address or to an email account that they no longer regularly use). We can confirm that a ballot was sent by email or post to all members.

So far we have managed to resolve this very quickly for everyone who has contacted our Returning Officer (who is doing an outstanding job).

Therefore please email our returning officer (returning-officer@british-caving.org.uk) with your full name and BCA number and we will be able to tell you to what email or postal address your ballot was sent. If you would like us to (please advise) we can resend your ballot directly to the email address that you contact us on (this will be a one-to-one email so it shouldn't get flagged as junk).
