There are ongoing problems with the email activation system when registering a new account or when changing your email address.
I've never been able to satisfactorily work out exactly what causes these problems; for most the system works fine, but quite a few people never get their activation emails.
What i tend to do is every couple of days just go and activate all real looking accounts so if you don't get your activation email then just keep trying to log in and you should get in after a few days. I would like to promise I'll do it every day but if i'm nowhere near a PC then it's not practical to do so.
If you still have no joy, then just use the contact form to ask for activation and i'll sort it as soon as i get your mail...
There is a major upgrade of the forum software looming on the horizon and i believe that the activation system is going to get an upgrade so fingers crossed this will solve all the problems.
