Meraklon Undersuit

Hi Guys,

Anyone got any experience using meraklon for an undersuit? Got myself a little project. Currently I have 3 metres of standard 280gsm fleece for use but not sure how it'll perform. Thinking 200g Meraklon would be less bulky and soak up less water.

Also was considering putting in a long zip down the front and up to the lower back for convenience but I have it in my head it might be uncomfortable to sit and slide around on. Does anybody find that at all?

I can't comment on the fabric but the classic Daleswear undersuits had a zip such as you describe, very convenient and didn't seem to be a problem during caving.  (y)

Ahh Brilliant! Ok, might well opt for the extended zip then. Give it a go. Such a pain having to strip everything off. Ooo Maybe I should stick one in my oversuit too. Wouldn't have to take SRT kit off
