The Caving Alphabet

I've had an idea for a new film.
It's at the conceptual stage, and whether it gets made or nor depends on finding caving related words beginning with each letter of the alphabet.
I've had a go but I'm really struggling with some letters.
Just for fun over the next 26 days, starting with A today, B tomorrow and so on, can forum members suggest caving related words beginning with each letter of the alphabet please?

I'll kick it off with A is for Abseil. How many more As can you come up with?

The "Caving Alphabet Song" springs to mind, but since it begins with "A is for Ar***hole...." I'm not sure it would make for a great film sequence!

The I'r de o Ddraenen project will be well set up for this. Although most of our work in the past three years has, by chance, been at Site A, we also have a Site Z and almost all the other letters in between.

Adit, aquifer, aven, artichoke (Ok I made the last one up).

One of my 'cant go to sleep' games is to go through the alphabet naming a cave that starts with each letter. Sometimes I make restrictions - so caves in one regions, caves that I have been down etc.

That's a jolly little film. Where, and who, was it?

Shot in Spain in 1978 and Yorkshire in 1979. I know Colin Boothroyd is in it (and first sent it to me after a singing session we had in mulu a couple months before the pandemic).

I-spy Colin getting on the ladder at the beginning, and emerging from the sump. I suspect that it was filmed by Chris Baxter.
