Aquamole Pot in-situ rope

Hello,

Following this weekend's CRO rescue (https://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=26138.0), CRO reported that the original in-situ rope in Rabbits Graveyard was removed to faciliate the extraction.  The CRO person I was speaking with said that they'd left 1 rope rigged (which is our club rope) incase there was a diver/caver still underground.  The original rope I understand is still in there somewhere, along with other items of our club kit.

A couple of our club members intend to retrieve our kit and re-rig the original in-situ rope in the next week or so.  For information, the injured caver made a petzl 'go' desent down the final pitch of Rabbits Graveyard using the original in-situ rope.  As such, we'll inspect the original rope for damage and leave our rope in if required.

Does anyone claim ownership of the original rope? I understood it was for a diving project but I can't find any recent post about this. I'd like to get in contact with the owner so we can put things back as they were.

Regards,

Stuart

I've just emailed the person who I think would like to know about this. I can't remember whether he is registered on here but I will PM Stuart with his contact details, if he wants me to.

Thanks for the link - it is a lengthy project!  I hope to get the ropes back to as they were for him

Thanks.  If I don't hear anything we'll just put the rope back as we think it was originally
