Just a reminder that this Saturday is the DCRO Open Day at the DCRO's new base at the Fire Station on Staden Lane in Buxton (out on the Ashbourne Road). Starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.

It's open to all interested cavers, there's no requirement to join DCRO, it's an interesting day covering a variety of topics, many of which can be quite useful in emergencies, especially in remoter caves in this country and abroad ... plus it's free, and you get fed!!

We've been putting off the decision hoping that it would stop snowing but it hasn't and indications are that it's going to get even worse so we've really no choice.

We will reschedule it for sometime later in the year and let you know.
