Easy Mallorcan caves

Hi all.
I'm interested in visiting some Mallorcan caves when I next visit. Last time I managed to get round to visiting three of the show caves, but I'd really like to see more and take photographs etc...
Can anyone reccomend some of the island's cave which don't involve much SRT, as the rope I'm using is old and needs to be replaced shortly.

regards;
Lindenn

Des Marshall published an A4 booklet many years ago, called (IIRC) "Mallorcan Caves". I think it is now out of print; though you could phone Inglesport, which is where I last saw a copy.

We used this book on our first trip to Mallorca and it was brilliant. There are a number of trips that require no rope at all; others that require handlines only; easy SRT trips; and multi-pitch SRT trips.

If it is unobtainable, I will happily send you a copy. PM me with your address if you want one; but do try Inglesport first, as I wouldn't want Des to think that I was trying to do him out of his legitimate income.

Hi there;
I found your information very usefull cheers; I'll get in contact with Inglesport tommorow.
I visited 'Las cuevas del Drach' (The caves of the Dragon) when visiting last summer, and 'although very commercialised - found it very impressive! Got told off a few times for taking photos :-\
Having once finished the tour, I also found what appeared to be a secret entrace on the nearby shoreline.

Anyway - looking forward to reading the booklet;

regards
