This is the magazine of the Yorkshire Dales Society, now called Friends of the Dales.  I was asked to write an article - I hope you can read the text from my photographs.  Great photos by our own Chunky - a million thanks.

Actually, I've just answered my own question - there are no decent cavers pubs east of the Bunkbarn!

I don't want to share anything other than the article I was responsible for, sorry.  Try contacting them direct for the magazine - it is good - or consider joining.  They are very keen to recruit new members.

As for the rainforest I understand in this context it refers to blanket bog.  Cheers
