Not caving related but...
Yesterday I went for a walk up onto Kinder from the Grouse pub between Hayfield and Glossop. Just after setting off I heard a loud rumble approaching followed by a parade of tractors heading towards Glossop all with their horns tooting. There were dozens of them. Possibly upwards of a hundred. They just kept coming!.
I have searched on line but can find nothing.
Anyone know what this was?

It was a tractor ralley raising money for Christies - I think it was a Glossop-New Mills-Hayfield circuit.
