I don't know weather I did mention this before when we were talking about changes to the forum or not.

On the Tapatalk app, when you open a thread for the first time it takes you to the beginning so you can start from the first post. If I were to do something daft then like go caving and come back later to view the same thread again, it remembers where I had read too and returns me to the same point. Which is something I think is quite good.

On the website version you get taken to the first post if i click on the thread name, or to the last one from the button on the right. There is no option to continue where I was before.

Is that something that could be added?

On the website version, if you first select "show unread posts since last visit", it shows you all the threads that have had posts since you were last logged on, then clicking "new" by the thread you are interested in takes you to the first of the posts on that thread that you haven't already seen.

That has probably been a feature for a long time and I just never knew.
