Two fixed ropes have appeared on the No.1 Hole and Vestry pitches since 15th December. They are very lumpy ropes, and have been tied into the bolts.

Does anybody know anything about them?

They weren't there on 21st Jan, when me the missus did an evening trip down Dome route. But I cannot shed any more light on it I'm afraid!

Useful to know, thanks. They are currently dominating the hangers, and have no apparent benefit.

Did Lost Johns exchange yesterday with some uwfra and CRO friends. Hammer/centipede and Cathedral/Dome. Unfortunately in error a rather dirty 10m rope was brought out from the foot of Vestry pitch (which already has a fixed rope on it).
Does anyone know whose the rope is and whether it needs returning?
It?s marked with white tape at either end and has a double spiral of black flecks. But no other identifying features.
