From 1/8/2009 the interclub expedition on the Anialarra will start. But last week a small team (2 persons) did a  pre-expedition and they already returned with excellent news:

They finally reached the top af deep pit. It took 17 days spread of several years too reach this point. But what the best thing is. Everything was
captured live on video

Sure listen to the sound of the falling stone at 4:40 and 5:09 in the clip and you will all understand that we are all excited to return and descend that pit.

Not yet, the expedition is heading out for three weeks starting on 1/8/2009. Probably somewhere in the 2nd week the descend of this pit is planned.
We need to enlarge the latest 10m before the top of the first pit first. Currently only a few people will be able to pass the last 10m of the meander that heads to the top of the pit. I'll be probably involved in the enlargment during the first week of the expedition. According to Paul it will take a few days to enlarge it so that everbody can pass easily. We hope to use this pit as entrance (if connected to the Anialarra system) in the futur. Because this pit is postioned better then the current entrance. More news in august.
