After meeting up at the local post office with Simon Gurney Jim Suddaby and Dmitri Poliakov we all drove off to Aber las together as there are three ways to get there and more ways to get lost.It's the first visit here for me and Simon so Dmitri gave us a quick tour and also a tour of Cambrian too.Thanks Dmitri.The dive went well,really good for a first visit we did the deep section down to 20 Mtrs and 200 metres in for a dive time of 46 minutes to thirds.

Day 2 Laura, Simon and guest Luca also toured Cambrian in a dry visit and marvelled at the lost world atmosphere. Luca and Simon did the same deep route, water 8 degrees, for a similar time as before to thirds. Laura did the shallow route. All done and all good. Handy to take a 10mt rope and crabs for lowering and raising tanks at the entrance and worth considering a boiler suit and gripping shoes for the carries in and out to dive base before changing into dive gear. Cuz in day 2 was compromised due to percolation silt but still a good 8 mt or so. Was humbling to dive this site which is so fundamental to UKMC principles and history.
