Dear fellow cavers

As a new year beckons, with eternal hope and optimism, we look forward to a time when we can all get out there and do what we love doing. Caving....

There will undoubtedly be more progress towards a safer world , and with that in mind, we look hopefully at this summer and wonder. Could it be?

Well as far as a festival goes, its a definite NO.

There is no way we can responsibly make any other decision other than that at this point.

We do however plan to do something.

Details of any events CavefestUK are hosting will be made available as soon as we are sure regulations permit us to do so.
Active volunteer days, community projects, social meets when possible, camping if permitted, are among the plans for this year.

Provisional reservations have been discussed in both the Mendip hills, and South Wales with regards to outdoor events later this year and we cross all of our fingers and toes in the hope that even 1 is possible.

Discussions and Questions to you all as a caving community will be added to our threads in due course and we look forward to hearing your opinions,  comments, feelings and ideas as we value them all.

A trip to Crickhowell looks likely....

Dates for a mini festival/gathering in Crickhowell are being discussed, and with government plans outlined, it is possible that this year may not be a total wipeout after all.

Dates between August & September are favourite and updates will follow once we are sure.

With a brighter, more optimistic year ahead, just maybe the end is nigh
