It makes the playing in tree I did yesterday seem so much more tame, damn living in area with relief and only 3 undergound pitches.

Some of those ropes looked a bit slack to me.

I always understood that was the normal way to do it...

With a few turns of the rope round your leg for braking, you don't need any of these expensive Petzl gadgets
