Sorry for the monster listing, but it might be interesting to some, and some of this info may be relevant - highlighted in bold. Peculiarly the item we're looking for seems to be listed as Vol. 2, No.2, not 11. Is this perhaps a misinterpretation of Roman numerals somewhere? This is from Doug Nash's index for the Glebe Cottage Library, all of which is now at the BCL (I think!). So one day it will be accessible! And it demonstrates just how much archive material is actually stored and available for us to use - eventually.

These people did us huge favours  ;)

I think they're boxes of files. Some of the photos are definitely from an album, so it may be mixed materials - dunno really, I only have the index of the library as it was at Glebe Cottage.

This is the listing at the top of the entry:

Is the title really "The Peak Fault Swallets", or is "The Peak Forest Swallets" as in the BCL catalogue?

Salmon L.B. & Boldock G. are also recorded as writing "Gautries Hole, Peak Forest, Derbyshire" and "Perryfoot Caves, Peak Forest, Derbyshire" in Cave Science Vol.1 No.6 and Vol.2 No.9. repectively.

The BCL also has aerial photos of the ..."Peak Fault Swallets"..., and Trevor Ford wrote an article in 1952 titled "The Non-existence of the Great Peak Fault [Derbyshire]" - I'll leave you to find them via http://caving-library.org.uk/catalogue/catalogue.shtml
