im a size 24 and find the large size of petzl Avanti too small and im currently needing to extend it with 2-4 mr's. and the leg loops are on the limit of extension. does anyone out there know of a plus size SRT harness or belt and leg loops.
i find i hang very far backwords so may need a chest harness or something to keep me upright.
help!

Note Superavanti's come in two sizes.

The smaller variant has yellow stitching, the larger has black stitching.

I'm not small so I bought an AV Techibat from Tony. It's got loads of room in the straps, but it's a bit of a faff with the extra bum strap to adjust. It's marginally better for reducing the falling-backwards feeling, but not much. A proper chest harness helps with that. I'm hoping the new petzl climbing style harness will be better. If you can wade through the banter/sexism etc., there's some useful youtube links in this thread (https://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=14094.0)

yikes you're not wrong about the sexism.

The other option is to try out some professional harnesses, which are more bulky but certainly bigger in the waist in the biggest sizes I think. It?s the leg size you probably have to check out. Designed for hanging around in a lot at least. Not cheap, but still.

The video in the linked thread of Amy using a higher attachment point and sitting position harness was very informative for the more top heavy person struggling with SRT
