Hi all Portland cavers.
If you are caving around the grove(back of Y.O.I) be careful as they are horizontally drilling to a max depth of 9 meters.
This is for the cabling to supply the cameras (Olympics). :thumbsdown:
It is going all the way down the length of the road and round the bend you know what i mean?.
This started up near the piggery and Friday started opposite  the lime kilns.
This might cause a collapse or two. :-\

Fairly substantial collapse in Allotment dig.
I removed a large block today and believe that minimal digging will again allow through passage to the other rifts.

CCTV? Don't think so! Mike Read (with professional as well as caving local knowledge), Charlotte Hilton & I inspected the damage to Allotment Dig, which the entrenching grazed, and established that the conduit carries cables to new street-lamps. Mike & co subsequently cleared the blocked link to Gunao Rift.
