I have a bobbin for sale that is effectively brand new.
I bought it for my daughter, thinking it would be better than a stop as she only has little hands. However, as soon as she tried to use it on an indoor practice, we found that she wasn't able to take the lock off without doing a sudden plummet. Hence, it has descended approx 10ft of clean dry rope half a dozen times. As she has since got the hang of a stop, the bobbin is now redundant.
