When two cavers get married then no standard wedding cake would possibly do! My (now) husband and I are from the Dudley Caving Club and wanted to share our incredible cake with you all to bring a smile to your day!

That cake looks amazing! And congratulations
Found some photos from our wedding in 2011 to add to the caving cake thread....
Limestone, a stream, a scaffold A frame and even a springer spaniel on the surface.....
And a cave on the inside complete with pitches, streams and boulders.
Also it was really yummy!
Made for us by a very lovely caving friend :-)

We had a Geode cake for our caver wedding at Wookey Hole last September! Our guests turned up in blingy welly boots and we gave a pack of mars bars away as first prize (proper classy!)

She was pretty thrilled to make one she doesn't get to make them often apparently. I loved coming up with lots of little quirks to add to the caving touch - including chocolate fossil wedding favours. It was a lot of fun!

The CHECC cake competition had 6 entries yesterday, all on a strong caving theme but with a variety of...skill in the decoration.
The winners were Nottingham UCC with the chocolatey GG on the far right, with Kent (orange helmet) and Leeds (chocolate fossil passage) coming joint runners up.
