Traffic Management Reminder
A465 weekend road closure from Friday 28 June to Sunday 1 July between Brynmawr & Ebbw Vale begins this evening. The official diversion route can be seen here: www.a465.info/ebbwvale
This weekend we will be carrying out a major reconfiguration of the temporary road layout west of Brynmawr Roundabout. This includes the removal of the ?half roundabout?.
The works this weekend will allow us to continue with the construction of the westernmost part of the retaining wall for the elevated section, drainage works, etc.
Please be mindful that there will be a new road layout when you travel through on Monday morning. Over the weekend closure please follow the official diversion. Using minor roads may lead to disruption and delays to your journey.
Following feedback we have amended the closure and the A4281 between Garnlydan junction and Ebbw Vale roundabout will be open *westbound only* (www.a465.info/ebbwvale).
