Just bought myself a copy of the new swildons book.It looks to be an excellent book It would be great if a book like this for Yorkshire was done ,maybe in chapters ie Easegill ,Leck fell ,3 Peaks ,Wharfedale.One for the future?

The Swildons Book has taken a group of many dedicated people around 8 or 9 years of work to get to the final product. 
Whilst it would be brilliant to see the same done for other caves, I very much doubt there are enough dedicated personel to make it happen for many caves.
It would be good though. 8)

My complete apologies. I read it properly the first time, then re-skimmed it quickly a long time later while I was trying to search for the threads on novice-friendly caves for the new thread on ukcaving. At that point our network fell over, and put a stop to everything for the next three days.
