I watched that, and although it was an interesting documentary in it's own right, you can't really call that a mine, it was about 10 ft long!

You're thinking of the gold mine in episode 2, the salt mine was much bigger.

oooh, I'm going to have to watch that later, had a brilliant holiday in Morocco back in the early 90's. Always wanted to go back since but not made it so far.....
