A number of people were not able to buy a DistoX board from the last production so I have been trawling the world's electronics suppliers for the obsolete parts.

Found some !

There will be a second production run with boards available end of June.

You will need a Disto A3 or Stabila LE50 to do the upgrade.
These are the only Laser Rangefinders that this DistoX board will fit into.

The latest DistoX boards have had a production problem which I hope to work through.

May take a few extra weeks to fix.

Apologies to everyone waiting.
Some of the components failed on the second production batch and that has caused another component to fail.
I am working through the boards to identify the failed components. Replacement components are on order but it will take time to get the boards fixed and I do not know when.

A few boards are okay and will be made available shortly.

This will be the last batch of DistoX 1.0 boards from me.

The replacement components have worked and I am now programming and testing the last of my DistoX boards.

Have started contacting people on the waitlist to let them know boards are available.

Not many DistoX boards remaining.

All my DistoX boards are now gone or allocated.

I will not be producing any more DistoX boards for the Disto A3.
This last production batch was very difficult to complete and very costly for me.
Also, the Disto A3 has become more difficult to find in a good condition.

Beat has started work on a DistoX version based upon the Disto X310.
I do not know when this will be available.

Mobile phone magnetic chips are not good enough for BCRA Cave Survey grade 3.

Best to stick to a Suunto Magnetic Compass or a DistoX for cave surveying.
