A Karst Hydrogeologist position is open at FloSolutions-GWX, Lima, Peru.

Salary: US$80,000 ? US$120,000 (based on experience level)
Our Lima office has an immediate opening for a Karst Hydrogeologist with a minimum of 8 years? experience. This individual will lead field and office studies related to karstic components of environmental and geotechnical investigations for the mining sector.
Responsibilities of the position include:
* Leading and managing field work and field data collection, data interpretation and evaluation, and preparation of technical reports
* Providing technical expertise for geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, karst mapping, tracer testing, hydraulic testing, hydrogeologic mapping, and development of conceptual site models.
* Technical training of junior staff members
* Assisting with project and client management
Job Requirements
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* A strong academic background in hydrogeology, at least a Master?s Degree in geology, hydrogeology, or geosciences.
* A minimum 7 years? experience in research or consulting practice in hydrogeology with strong experience in karstic terrain (preferably alpine karst).
* Demonstrable academic or consulting experience in hydrogeologic data collection, assessment of basin/spring water balance, tracer testing, groundwater sampling, hydrogeologic testing and analysis, conceptual modeling and numerical groundwater flow modeling.
* Fluency in English (verbal and written); preference will be given candidates with Spanish communication skills.
* Willingness to work as part of a group and train junior staff members.
* Strong analytical and computer skills.
* Willing to operate and maintain field testing and monitoring equipment, and willing to travel.
* Ability to work at high altitudes (3000 ? 4500 masl)
* Pass a physical examination as a condition of employment
