Hello

The cave Moria was found in 1998 by explorers from Odessa on the plateau Korovie (Cow?s) of the Dzhentu mountain range,  in the Karachaevo-cherkessiya region of the Russian Caucasus. Both web sites are in Russian, but the map of Karachaevo-Cherkessiya has English place names and the photos do not need translation.

The cave is quite deep, interesting, and beautiful. It has rope access, but not difficult, and there is an abundance of water. It has good prospects for new exploration of inlets and in the upper levels.

The group includes a member of the Moscow Rescue Team. Also a member of the group is my son Vlad who is a good English speaker.

They would welcome British caver(s) to join the trip.
