What type of diving do you wish to use them for (Cave / Openwater) ?

I have used a Vytek before and from a purely personal point of view I don't like the small display, it's hard to
read at a glance, I prefer the Aladin Series of computers (Smart Pro) they have a large clear display and the information is there in a clear easy to see format, oh and they are pretty tough too.

Open water apart from the sea caves in Malta :)

I sometimes think about cave diving but i don't really have the time to dedicate to it.

Horses for courses then really, most computers now have tons of features crammed into them and it will only
be your budget that will restrict you.

When I was looking for a new computer I just noted down what features I would like from it and then asked around,
the list consisted of :

Current Tempeture
Nitrox
Audible Alarms
Backlight
Downloadable Data
Dive Planning
Clear Display
Protective Cover
Easy to navigate menu

There were more but I have forgotten them, so in the end I came up with the Aladin Smart Pro. I suppose if you are doing basic open water down to say 25m then I suppose the Vytek would be a good option if it's the Suunto route  you wish to go down.
