Are you saying there is no caving on Saturday 13th ? Planning on coming Friday night so was assuming to get a trip in on Saturday and using the rigged caves.

A good question, Bazdog. What I am doing is not guaranteeing there will be caving, but also no ruling it out. I do not yet have a handle on which caves will already be rigged before the weekend and on whether I am going to have sufficient volunteers to get the site properly set up while also being able to man a caving tent, albeit in a skeleton way. I promise to do the best we can, but can't confirm it at this point in time.

You have to book, at Eurospeleo.
There are timed slots available each day from Monday to Friday for the winch.
You cannot get access to the cave unless you book first.

Bookings can only be made on site at Eurospeleo, and only to delegates.

Yes, Les is right. My post above was a little misleading. The Winch is available exclusively to delegates from Monday - Friday and at a subsidised rate of ?5. The winch will then be open from Saturday 20th until Monday 29th for the general public at the normal rate of ?15. The majority of the caves at GG should be rigged by Sunday 14th, so trips not involving the winch are welcome then, but only by pre-booking at the Caving Tent at EuroSpeleo.
