You do know that the centre of the universe is a black hole right? Are you saying the hunters is one big black hole?

Are you thinking of galaxies? According to the standard theories of cosmology, there is no centre of the Universe.

I think they just mean once you get a load of Mendip cavers in there the place has its own gravitational pull.

True I am thinking galexyes because of the user name that posted it! But they suspect eventually the universe will begin contracting again, meaning there must be some massive force in the centre of the universe, such as a super massive black hole, so I might be right anyway. So eventually everything will collapse into the hunters.

Sorry, according to the standard theories of cosmology there is no centre of the Universe, and so there can't be a black hole there!

The possibility of the Universe contract is due to the rate of expansion decreasing to the extent that the gravitational force of the whole Universe causes it to contract on itself. However, the discovery of dark energy has complicated the issue to way beyond my understanding.

Does it have wifi now?
I assume that's a rhetorical question

That said, outside The Hunters is about the only place on Mendip I get a decent phone signal (if phones are allowed outside?)

The standard theories of cosmology are clearly wrong, since the centre of the universe is known. Mendip cavers tend to the rotund as they age, so get enough of them in the Hunters and gravitational collapse in to a black hole is likely.
