Derbyshires flooded again

Shut out of bashawe again lastnight - Flooded right up to the steps at the top of the dungeon.
Durham Edge swallet was also taking too much water to risk going down (after tuesdays escapades).

Does anyone know if you can get that land drain stuff - but without the holes.

Certainly can, I've used both 4" diameter (brown) and 3" diameter (blue) pipe at various digs over the years to control small streams. It works a treat, lightweight flexible and tough - you can lie on it and not damage it etc. The only issue with it is joining up the sections, need to improvise something water tight as the all the comercial joiners I've seen aren't.

Don't know the current cost - a mate got me the last load from a builder who didn't want it any more.

exactly what we need to do - i.e - stop it pouring ice cold melt waterall over us on the entrance climb.

yup - same idea - on a slightly smaller scale though :)

just need some flexible 3 or 4 " diameter pipeing. Got my spies at work looking for some.

fire how is good and ther seems to be alot about ask tgs or moose or phen the fire bace in sheffield and see what they say.
