On Friday 1 November there will be an ?emergency? overnight road closure on the
A465 westbound carriageway between Brynmawr and Ebbw Vale. The closure will begin at 20:30 on Friday 1 November and will finish by 06:00 on Saturday 2 November. Please note the eastbound carriageway will remain open during this time.
Brynmawr Roundabout to Ebbw Vale (WESTBOUND ONLY)
20:30 ON FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2019 -
06:00 ON SATURDAY 2 NOVEMBER 2019
The recommended diversion for the closure can be seen here:

The overnight closure is required to repair a series of potholes that have been identified and it is essential they are repaired before the weather temperatures drop further.
We do not envisage the works will take the full allocated closure time to complete and it?s likely the road will open much earlier than scheduled. If you plan to travel through these hours, Traffic Wales will be able to notify you if the road has reopened early.
