Cherry Tree Hole Entrance

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what length ladder is needed for the entrance pitch to Cherry Tree Hole.
As far as I can tell it's a new, deeper pitch than the 4m one in mentioned Northern Caves, but I can't find a pitch length for the new entrance anywhere.
Thanks!

My memory ain't worth a dime, but I think it is just a free climb?

We got turned round and were heading back out for quite a while before we realised.  No idea how that happened, but apparently we were not the first team to do this!

It's about 12m..so 2 ladders.
The anchors are high up on the wall so nearer 14m..still 2 ladders tho.

It is just about climbable and is sort of broken but does get difficult. However it's loose near the bottom opens out a bit and more importantly it's loose wit overhanding rocks at the bottom. It's changed over the last few years so has collapsed at least once so far.

Not so very long ago, I climbed it, as I was looking for a pitch following a climb, and before I knew it, I had got to the bottom.
It needed some care near the bottom, but wasn't that hard (can't have been, as I did it!).

More sensible members of the party rigged it right from hangers above the entrance, though I can't recall the rope length.

That happened to us.  At the time I  assumed that it was because we had the late Perce Lister with us.  Perce had the sense of direction of a compass in a magnet factory.

The 'obvious' way on after the first section of crawling is the wrong way, the right way is a slightly obscure passage off to one side (the left-hand side, I think).

The time we did it it was full of snow which probably made a difference. That was 40 years ago though. I seem to remember just scrambling down. The fun part was finding the entrance. We were supporting Martyn  Farr who wanted to dive the terminal sump. We were all hung over after a CDG dinner at the Golden Lion in Settle.
