Open Cafes

The one at Fiezor has been open. Seasons at Ingleton does take away (coffee and bacon butties) and has seats outside only.
All the cafes in Grassington are open.

Tried the new takeaway sandwich shop opposite Inglesport on Wednesday. Think it only opened the previous day, where the Tandoori place used to be. Very good bacon buttie and nice proper coffee, looked like they were doing slightly more than sandwiches etc.

Very limited seating indoors, but now with picnic benches outside.

Yeh, we noticed Bernie's appears to be shut and for sale and I assume Inglesport is not going to carry on with their caf?, or will they open it up again in June?

It seems like the end of an era for me, normally every caving trip pre-pandemic started in one of those two shops. Now its a case of get a bun from the affor-mentioned shop or eat at home. Not very sociable :(

Ingleton:
DJ's for a very good greasy breakfast, fair bit of seating inside and out.
Pens Pantry, good bacon sarnies.
I notice cafe at the Waterfalls car park is open, no idea what they do.

The word is that Inglesport cafe is going to open again after all.  Not sure when but probably in 4-6 weeks time.
