If you have followed the thread about retiring our caving helmets well, here they are. There are 13 Petzl Ecrin Rocs, all of which are at least 10 years old. They have been solely used to take Scout Groups down venues like Devonshire, Jug Holes, Long Churn. They have been used, on average, about 12 times a year. I am in the process of cleaning them and checking them and so far have found no damage other than some discolouration of the webbing and the inevitable scratching on the top of the shell. We also have 4 Petzl Elios helmets, which are less than 10 years old. I could drip feed them onto fleabay but I would rather spend my old age doing other things. If anyone wants them as a job lot, on the clear understanding that they are well past the manufacturers recommended life span, a price of ?200 for all 17 helmets has been suggested by County Scouts. Any takers? I'd rather not have to split them into individual sales if it can be helped, so if someone has time on their hands they could go the fleabay route and maybe make some money.

Update. There are 12 Ecrin Rocs, in red, not 14 as I initially was told. They all have two small, drilled holes in the front where the brackets were for the FX headlamps we used to use, and two small holes at the back for a retaining cord. There are also 4 blue Elios helmets with no holes drilled, size small. Price drop to ?180 for all of them as a job lot, or ?90 if we have to sell as two lots of 8. Or any other combination pro-rata.
