The British Cave Research Association (BCRA) is a UK-registered charity that achieves its objectives by:
> supporting cave and karst research
> encouraging original exploration (both in the UK and on expeditions overseas)
> publishing speleological information
> organising educational and scientific conferences and meetings.
BCRA is administered by a Council of trustees and is a constituent body of the British Caving Association (BCA), with which it cooperates on many projects.
