Yes folks - that is just about the epitome of what British cave diving is all about. Never mind the namby pamby French stuff. Good effort with the video Simon.

He has got a little digital camera which takes video, Olympus but not sure what model, snoopy'd to a frame with an SL4 and another beefy torch and all of this is on the end of a short pole.

Good effort indeed; you will notice that his torches are switched off so he did that dive with the camera torches blinding him as he went through the sump. You will also notice that he is carrying a lump hammer and crowbar at the same time!

At least he had a bit of vis, just imaging what it is like on the way back when the vis is trashed  8)

I'm glad you all enjoyed the video, credit goes to Shaun for a good editing job though - thanks!  (y)

I used an Olympus 1030SW, an SL4-eLED and a miniQ40-eLED all ziptied to an old underwater camera bracket. This was attached to a pole to distance the camera a bit.

Oh, incase you haven't spotted it, if viewed directly from youtube 'watch in high quality' can be selected  ;)
