Many cave diggers are now using my Digging Buckets and Rock Nets.
This weekend Bob Mehew pulled some apart on his new static tester.
A digging bucket will hold about 54Kg of rock if brim full ,the force require to break it was 570 Kg.Or just over half a ton.
The plastic did not fail at all.
The rock net was then tested ,the copper ferrules began to fail at 2240 Kg or two and a quarter tons.
Safe digging folks ,just remember these tests were conducted on new gear ,please throw away when
any signs of wear appears. I will gladly replace them. :)

Feel like posting a larger picture of these fabled buckets & nets for those of us across the pond who are unlikely to be able to procure them from you? The itty bitty profile pic is just big enough to be a tease!

I've just been informed that the bucket isn't actually one of braveduck's but one of Glyn's cheap copies. Sorry about that. The better ones aren't in any photos I have then sadly ;)

Just collected 500 new Labels for my Digging Buckets from the printers today ,
Just read the whole thread - fancy having a go at posting a photo, it's much easier now the forum softwear has been updated (thank goodness for Q she thinks once again 😁)
