March 16-23, 2014: The Vulcanospeleology Symposium
March 24-30, 2014: Post-Symposium Gal?pago Volcanic Cruise
March 24-30, 2014: Post-Symposium Mainland Karstic Caves Tour

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

PRE-SYMPOSIUM LIMESTONE CAVE EXPLORATION
March 8, 2014 - Arrive in Quito, Rep?blica del Ecuador, and transfer to Shell
March 9 to 14, 2014 - Exploration of Tayos Cave and making of a documentary
March 15, 2014 - Arrive back in Quito

Notes:
-This is special exploration and documentary production of a limestone cave on the mainland
-Cost: USD $150
-You must provide your own transportation to Quito and Shell
-You must pay for your own lodging and dining

THE VULCANOSPELEOLOGY SYMPOSIUM
March 16, 2014 - Fly Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, Gal?pago Islands. Evening cocktails.
March 17, 2014 - Symposium, Conferences, Posters. Dinner
March 18, 2014 - Bellavista caves. BBQ Dinner.
March 19, 2014 - Caves at Premicias and surrounding - Dinner at site.
March 20, 2014 - Royal Palm Cave. Transfer to Isabela Island. Dinner.
March 21, 2014 - Red Ant Cave, Sucre Cave, Gran Chaparral Cave.
March 22, 2014 - Early departure to Santa Cruz. Guided tour to Sulfur mines, new volcanic fields and Volcan Chico.
March 23, 2014 - Early departure to Santa Cruz. Charles Darwin Research Station.

Notes:
-You must arrange your own transportation to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, Gal?pago Islands
-Commerical flights to Puerto Ayora originate on the mainland Ecuador from either Quito or Guayaquil, and transfer through Baltra
-Flights cost about USD $400 round-trip
-Gal?pago entrance fee and tax = USD $110
-Symposium fee USD $620 (includes 6 night's accomodation, cocktail, symposium, transport to and from caves (and airport), dinners, lunchboxes and breakfasts, laundry, boat transport from Santa Cruz to Isabela Island and back)
-Tour fees during symposium = approx $50-$100
-Do not fly into the San Cristobal airport, is located in the eastern part of the Gal?pagos

POST-SYMPOSIUM GALAPAGOS VOLCANIC CRUISE
