Making adjustable cords from AS

Full cooking instructions. For the ingredients, you'll need an AS with some longer Dyneema cord.

You can do the same thing with just a bowline, but maybe this is more convenient to adjust?

There are other clever ways to do this -- at one point Starless River made ingenious adjustable footloops using two small rings, and the Petzl footloop is similar.

there are various bits of hardware marketed for hammock camping and tarps - that are very easy adjust and promise a 150kg working load capacity - that COULD be used with a peice of dyneema cord to create adjustible cave foot loops

SOME - have an " open cleat " that will obviously fall apart when dangling from harness - so are unsutible - but there are ones that will stay together too

just another idea for home brew - YMMV
