Hi All,

I've had a sneak peek at the next issue of the BCA Newsletter - and it looks great, a bumper issue!

Hopefully cavers will receive this next edition by e-mail or get to read it online however there is still a place for the printed word - settling down with a brew in your club hut or cafe to read the newsletter, so...

The next BCA newsletter will be printed and distributed to all club huts and Inglesport.

Question - Where else could we send this printed version to where folks can pick up a copy?  Any ideas?

Thank you  (y)

Any/all caving visitors attractions (like Peak cavern for instance) - cafeteria reading material.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hunters is a good one, as for cafes - which ones, are there any like Inglesport where cavers regularly meet?  Ditto pubs.

Re showcaves, what we're after is places where cavers meet up, where copies of the newsletter will be picked up and read.

Apart from Inglesport, are there any other shops which sell caving kit?  Obviously Tony at Starless however any others?

Thanks, Jane

Upandunder in Cardiff sell a bit.
I'm never sure if Caving Supplies in Buxton is an actual shop.
Isca Outdoor in Exeter (who run the Bernie's online shop) but again I don't think there is a shop as such.

Still is, but not necessarily guaranteed to be open if you turn up on spec. It's been open every time I went past it in the past week or so.

I'm not sure that there's enough cavers these days to 'meet up' in cafes! :cautious:

There's a few cafes in the Peak where Cavers and Climbers may end up at some point:-

Longlands Cafe above Outside shop in Hathersage
Grindleford Station Caf?
Yondermans Cafe at Wardlow
Old Smithy Cafe at Monyash

Others may be able to suggest others
