Victorinox have released a variant on the Skipper sailing pen-knife - the Skipper Pro.  https://www.victorinox.com/uk/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Knives/Large-Pocket-Knives/Skipper-Pro/p/0.8503.2MW  Features look good: has a one hand opening lock blade and a very robust locking marlin spike for rope work.  I've the original Skipper (from back in the days I had a boat) and the blade is pretty good for rope cutting as well as the more important things like cheese and salami.  Ancillary tools are different though compared to the Pro.  Pro seems more pure rope work orientated whereas the original has more day to day gadgets.

RRP prices are a bit steep on the Victorinox site, but will probably come down a bit from the usual outlets.

I like that it comes with a lanyard, never worked out how to fit one myself.

I'd want a lanyard with a monkey fist at the end for 80quid

I use a floating sailing knife, the blade is a bit thin but it has done everything I have asked of it for three years.
