Check out this belgain site dedicated to cave conservation -

Cave Conservation Website

being a peak district caver I am acutly aware of the damage that cavers, sometimes unbelievably inflict on caves.
We (the Eldon) are currently involved in some conservation measures down bagshawe cavern and are hoping to conserve some of the finest decorated cave in derbyshire. the site has been quite helpful.

Most of it is in English but there are a couple of sections that could do with translating if anyone out there is able.

Does anyone know if robbie shone is going to be putting any measures into side track. As far as I can tell its getting quite a lot of traffic now and I bet most people are wanting to see the 'pretties' - well without any measures (taping) etc then there wont be many for long.
