Posted another clue anyway ... The formation is around 20 feet tall and is midway on a pitch of around 100 feet (give or take a few microns)

A little bit different, we are parked only 20 metres from the entrance (cave entrance is to the left and behind). I will post another clue in 24 hours if there are no good guesses :)
