I second this. Without CHECC (and countless others) birmingham would not have a student club. Yes members topless cave regularly and we enjoy cheese and mango underground among other antics but CHECC has been pivotal to the clubs success. It has helped me with equipment and traning for the club...

As we will be associated with BCU its unlikely UOB will let us store our gear there unfortunately. But im hoping to get somewere to store gear in BCU even if its only small

We have that meeting tomorrow so hopefully we will know more then. We are going armed with a risk assessment and a constitution to show our preparedness as uni unions like to emphasise how dandrous caving is

Ive also had plenty of messages privately from other clubs and people offering to help out weather this be running joint trips, lending us gear or donating old gear that they don't use or are replacing. We have also had people offering to lead trips for us and reading over the paper work!
