I always ride clipless in the UK on road, cycle paths and the like. Not brave enough to mountain bike clipless yet. I’ve done a few tours and generally clipped in for those but we leave in 2.5 weeks for another and we don’t plan to be clipless on that trip. It all depends on what you fancy...
