    Somerset Underground Vol 4

Do you have any information on where it will be available to order online? Won’t be in the west country for a few weeks and I’ve been eagerly awaiting this volume. Don’t want to miss out!

    Dolebury Levvy

Thank you, really nice bit of insight. It actually sounds like exactly the kind of dull local history thing I’d enjoy so I might take a look.

    Dolebury Levvy

Does anyone have any information on this little old mine? I can't find anything online beyond the MCRA entry. I can see it's on access land, and since it's walking distance from where I'll be staying in a few weeks, i'm wondering if its worth a quick afternoon trip to take a look.

    First Aid Kits

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but eye wash! It’s so easy to get grit in your eye and it can really affect your ability to get operate. Plus, you don’t want someone’s grubby hands in there trying to get it out. I’ve seen some people out there who seem to be prepared for a real “worst...

Haha no, it’s still incredibly clean. Like being in a museum! There’s also a couple of very beautifully written hand made signs pointing you in the right direction around the place too.

    Sallys Rift

As an enthusiast of “collectors item” caves Sallys Rift is one of those that I’ve read about and considered a trip for a while. Does anyone have any information about it? There’s a lot of academic material on the formation of gull caves out there that feature it, but mainly I’m wondering is it...

I Thought that might be the case! But I have been trying to get a copy of MU for the last few years and I’m starting to worry I’ll expire before I get one.

    Somerset Underground 4

Somerset Underground Vol 4 is listed on the back of my copy of Vol 3, but I can’t find it on any forums. Does it exist? Has it been published? Is there a date for publication? Oh and if anyone has a copy of Mendip Underground Vol 4 I’m also after one of those.

    Rope Etiquette

Nice! Free rope right here! 😂 Depending on how well it’s rigged probably leave my rope there and use theirs, I guess it would depend on a lot of factors. Some venues allow for a second rig, and a second group quite well, some don’t.
