The climb is quite doable. Even I managed to do it last week (not confident on exposed climbs) I did make sure I was attached to the rope we had rigged with a hand jammer though.
Ladder I think would be very awkward, even SRT isn't easy going up due to bumping into the ledges.

The theme is 'Natural Wonders' so caves defiantly fall into that category. Maybe not mines but if that then enables a 'natural wonder' they could be included.
