    Craig’s cave rigging topo

Seem to remember prospecting in Wye a long time ago and reading about a site called "Craig's Cave". I don't remember it being particularly extensive however. Perhaps if might be worth contacting one of the local caving clubs to see if there's been any digging breakthroughs there - I'd imagine...

Titan to Peak Connection/Cow Arse Worms Levels

Hi everyone, What are people's thoughts on the level of the 'cow arse worms' duck just before you pop out into leviathan? There's been a lot of rain the past few weeks, but I'm not sure just how much is needed in order for this to sump fully... I'm planning a trip through on Sunday :) All the...

Hi everyone, Does anyone have any information on Bonsall Moor Swallet (SK 255 588) or any other drainage features on the moor? What is the access situation? Is it still being dug, or if not, what was it's conclusion? Is it still an active stream sink? It looks an interesting site to have a...

    What's water like in P8

Was down P8 yesterday. Levels certainly dropped since Alastair and I went in August. I reckon with a shovel and some patience you could be through sump 1

    Rope Washing In Wales

Cheers for these links, I shall have a read through and a see. Ripping a washing machine up for some useful components is also a very good idea. Yes, there is some emphasis on producing nice pretty paperwork, but I still think and have experienced that having a good functioning simple product...

    Rope Washing In Wales

Hi everyone. A few weeks ago I posted a survey regarding the redesign of rope washers as well as asking for some photographs of various examples from different caving clubs (This is for my A Level Product Design coursework!). I thought it'd be ideal to get at least one example from each major...

Rope Washer Design and Usage - A Level DT Project

Hi everyone. Firstly, can I just say I am overwhelmed by the quality and volume of responses I have received for this. I have read through everyone's comments on here too, and will take them all to heart. For now, I have stopped the survey accepting any more responses as I am having to process...

Rope Washer Design and Usage - A Level DT Project

Hi everyone. I'm aware that this topic has probably been covered extensively on this forum, but I would appreciate your feedback in the design of a rope washer for use in a caving hut setting. As part of my A Level in Design and Technology, I am required to carry out a survey of product users...

Eldon Hole - Pull Through Cord Damaged

Dropped down Eldon tonight and unfortunately the pull through cord was in a heap on the floor with the Maillons undone on the bolts above it. All reported to DCA, but if anyone is planning a trip in the near future then you may wish to put it on hold. BM :)
